New Release: Diversity in Schools
Oral arguments in two Supreme Court cases will be heard on December 4th. The outcome of the cases may end the era of Brown v. Board of Education, the landmark decision that made school segregation illegal and called for direct plans to achieve integration in schools. 52 years after the Brown decision, the Supreme Court will consider whether schools are allowed to continue voluntary school desegregation programs that promote diversity. Please visit our web resources and talking points pages to get a deeper understanding of how the outcome could change our history and reshape our school programs. The United States is a diverse country and our schools should reflect our diverse communities.
