Life, Liberty and Security of Person

During the month of December, Guests on Call will be featuring guests to speak on human rights issues at home and abroad in honor of the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
President-elect Obama has a lot on his plate right now and that includes addressing the domestic and international human rights legacy of the Bush Administration. From Katrina to Predatory Lending to Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo, there is a pressing need to uphold the U.S.'s commitment to human rights at home and abroad, which is at the core of our value system as Americans.
