U.S. in Africa

Is U.S. economic, political and military assistance in Africa fueling the flames of conflict or putting out the fire? Guests on Call looks into how U.S. aid to Africa can be given in a way that promotes stability instead of fueling conflict.
GOC also look at the conflicts in Sudan, Somalia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as the humanitarian issues in Zimbabwe and the current political climate. These areas will be challenges for U.S. diplomacy that both Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama will need to address. How can we improve the way we give aid to Africa? How can the U.S. have a more consistent foreign policy in Africa?
