Changing the Food System: Sustainable Agriculture

“To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.”- La Rochefoucauld (1959)

Check out our newest media release about Sustainable Agriculture and the need and ability to change our national food system to be more environmentally, economically and socially viable.

The buzzword “sustainable” is used by many special interest groups, but what does it mean? One definition: “meeting the needs of the present generation while protecting the right of future generations to meet their needs as well.” “Sustainable agriculture” means growing food and raising livestock by integrating environmental health, economic profitability and social and economic equity.

Visit our website to view the full release and Guests who are on Call to be interviewed by local, regional and national radio across the country about their work towards a more sustainable food system.
