A Call to the Pope for Compassion

For the remainder of April, Guests on Call takes a closer look at gay communities of faith as the Pope plans his visit to the U.S. April 15-20. Pope Benedict XVI has been known to make strong anti-gay statements. What are the larger repurcussions of these statements on youth questioning their sexuality and Catholics who are gay?

Guests on Call will be featuring parents who suport their gay children and GLBT advocates who are calling on the Pope to start a dialogue with the gay community and denounce religiously motivated violence against the GLBT community.
