Green With Energy?

During November, Guests on Call is taking a closer look at oil and gas drilling and coal mining in the American West. There is an ever increasing number of approved permits to drill and mine on our public lands and on private lands located close to neighborhoods. The ever increasing demand for energy is coupled with the demand on our leaders to address global warming and greenhouse gas emissions from the use of oil/gas/coal for energy. How can we meet our energy needs and limit our greenhouse gas emissions to halt global warming? How is global warming affecting the American Western Frontier? Why is the Bureau of Land Management permitting and leasing public lands for oil and gas drilling?
