FARM BILL 2007 UPDATE

Late on July 19, the House Agriculture Committee moved the Farm Bill 2007 forward, after a "markup" period in which amendments were heard and voted on. This coming week, the Farm Bill may be moving to the House Floor, where it will again be scrutinized.

The Mainstream Media Project takes a look at how the Farm Bill is taking shape. Although there is still much debate ahead before the Farm Bill will face the final vote, some small steps toward progress have been made.
