KATRINA AMNESIA

During the second half of August, into September, Guests on Call will be looking at the recovery and rebuilding of the Gulf Coast Region, two years later. There are many community groups and advocates fighting for their right to have a say in the process of rebuilding and to have equal access to jobs that pay a wage they can live on, housing and childcare they can afford, as well as access to healthcare (including mental healthcare in an area where reports show an increase in the number of people suffering from PTSD, depression and anxiety related to the disaster).
